Welcome to SUMMER at Stowe Mountain Resort. There is a lot of activity going on this season, so we wanted to keep you in the loop to help ensure your next visit to Stowe is a great one.
Please note: Due to construction the following summer attractions are no longer offered at the resort:
Alpine Slide, Bungee Trampolines, Climbing wall and Obstacle Course.
Here’s what you can expect at Stowe Mountain Resort this summer:
Independence Weekend Celebration
Saturday, July 5th - Great American Tailgate Party. Come, park in the Mansfield lot, and enjoy the activities until fireworks at dusk. Celebrate with a special artisan food court set up outside of the Mansfield Base Lodge from 6- 8:30pm. Enjoy local favorites such as Carbeque, Northern Fire Slice oven fired pizza, The Euro Restaurant, Green Mountain Kettle Corn and Stowe Ice Cream’s IC Scoops.
Live music with the Funkleberries and free kids activities (Dux the Balloon Man and caricature drawing with Marc Hughes). Also that evening, the Mansfield Retail Shop will remain open until 8pm for a special Independence sale. All of their 2013-2014 winter outerwear, footwear, accessories, bags, skis (new and demo), and snowboards will all be on sale from 30% to 75% off.
Bring your own lawn chairs and blankets and stick around to join us for a spectacular fireworks show from Northstar Fireworks at dusk!
The Over Easy lift (connecting Spruce Peak & Mt. Mansfield) will be open daily July 3 to Oct 13, 7:30am-5:30pm.
For the first time ever, ride the FourRunner Quad this summer to amazing views, hiking trails and mountain fun.
Open Daily 7/03/14 - 9/12/14, 10:30am-4:00pm.
Note: Lift will not operate in the rain. Footwear appropriate for walking & hiking is recommended - no flip flops.
Children ages 2-6 must be accompanied by an adult ticket holder (ages 13 and up).
At the top of the FourRunner Quad, enjoy the Octagon Café, open daily 7/03/14 – 9/12/14. Serving lunch, snacks and beverages.
Mt. Mansfield Auto Toll Road
The historic Auto Toll Road zigs and zags its way to the summit ridge of Mt. Mansfield where stunning views of Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains await you.
Open Daily 5/24/14 - 10/19/14, 9:00am - 5:00pm - Gate is locked at 5:00pm.
Operating hours are ALWAYS subject to weather.
Vehicle Restrictions: Safety considerations dictate that some vehicles cannot be permitted on the Toll Road: No trailers, RV’s, campers or vans converted to RV’s. No mopeds or scooters. No motorcycles or bicycles.
Hiking on the Toll Road is not recommended.
Gondola SkyRide (Re-Opens September 13, 2014)
Open Daily 9/13/14 - 10/13/14, 10:00am - 4:30pm
Summer Kids Adventure Camp
A fun adventure program offered on the mountain for children ages 3-12 years.
Hiking, Nature, River and Stream Exploration, Rock Climbing & Challenge Courses, Golf & Tennis Skills, Disc Golf, Arts & Crafts, and more.
We offer Adventure Programs for 3-4 year olds; 5-7 year olds and 8-12 year olds.

Golf in Stowe – A 36-Hole Golf Destination
Stowe boasts two of New England’s finest courses, both on and off the mountain.
In the heart of it all you'll find the Stowe Country Club. With its beautiful undulating fairways and manicured greens, the public country club occupies what was a turn of the century dairy farm. The 360 degree views of the surrounding mountains. For tee times call 802-760-4653. Stowe Mountain Club Golf Course meanders along the slopes of Mount Mansfield and Spruce Peak, reaching an elevation of more than 1,800 feet. The resort course is available to Stowe Mountain Club members, as well as guests of the extraordinary new Stowe Mountain Lodge. Spruce Peak Sports – Open daily 6/21/14 to 10/13/14, 10am-4pm.
Spruce Peak Sports offers new summer product from Mountain Hardwear, Mountain Khaki, Burton, Northface, Go Pro, Suncloud, Smith and Oakley sunglasses. We also have a broad selection of Stowe logo wear and souvenirs.
Mt Mansfield Sports/Gift Shop – Open daily 7/03/14 to 9/12/14, 10am-5pm.
Sale Annex with great selection of 2014 demo and new skis, clearance sale on 2014 skiwear from Obermeyer, Northface, Marmot, Spyder, Mountain Hardwear, and Rossignol. Helmets, mitts and gloves, socks, hats, and more, all on sale. The gift shop at Mansfield features Stowe logo items ranging from pins to hoodies and caps. Also gift and souvenir items, Vermont Teddy Bear, Stowe glassware, sunglasses from Suncloud, Smith and Oakley. Also Go Pro cameras will be available to capture your time at the mountain.
Octagon Gift Shop - Open daily 7/3 to 9/7, 10:30am – 4pm (weather permitting)
This top of the mountain gift shop features Stowe wearables and souvenir items.
Stowe Mountain Lodge Shops
Ralph Lauren Polo – Great selection of Ralph Lauren Polo men’s, women’s and kid’s clothing and accessories.
Atmosphere – Food and beverage offerings including Vermont made products, great selection of Vermont products from Vermont Artisans.
Solstice Restaurant and Hourglass Lounge
Open daily for lunch and dinner.
Stowe Mountain Lodge is home to Solstice Restaurant and Hourglass Lounge; two of the most innovative dining options in Stowe, which appeal to the most discerning of travelers. Exceptional wines, craft beers and modern, seasonal New England cuisine are served amidst stunning Green Mountain views.
Mansfield Construction Update
Gondola base: This area is currently a construction/ hard hat zone. In addition, the bottom and middle Gondola lots are closed to unauthorized personnel.
ZipTour: ZipTour construction will be taking place from the Gondola base to the Gondola summit, affecting several other areas including Goat Woods.
Upper Barnes Camp parking lot will be the staging area for snowmaking pipe.
Gondola upgrade is continuing all summer, with a scheduled opening of 9/13/14.
Spruce Construction Update
Construction is currently underway on the new Adventure Center, Stowe Mountain Club, outdoor ice skating plaza, additional retail and food outlets is taking place. Fencing is in place around all affected areas. Mass excavation and site work will continue through the end of the summer with vertical construction beginning this fall. Parking at Spruce is prohibited.
