Digital law hits hurdle

Changes in Vermont's open meeting law kick in July 1, affecting the state's digital landscape as well as its boardrooms - and some town governments may take down their websites to avoid violating the law.

But town officials in Stowe, Morristown and Waterbury say their websites are all ready for prime time.

For some towns, the problem is posting information promptly on the website.
