Prior to this collision operator#1 was traveling south on U.S. Route 7 in Salisbury. While traveling south a deer ran out in front of vehicle#1. Operator#1 attempted to brake but struck the animal.

Operator#1 sustained bumps and bruising due to the collision and subsequent airbag deployment. Vermont State Police were assisted at the scene by Middlebury Rescue and The Salisbury Fire Department. No tickets or warnings were issued.
