Plum Creek Foundation grant supports early literacy work of Vermont Humanities Council

The Plum Creek Foundation has awarded a $2,000 grant to the Vermont Humanities Council for literacy trainings for childcare providers in Caledonia, Essex, and Orleans counties.

VHC's Never Too Early (NTE) program brings childcare providers together for training sessions to learn about children's language and early literacy development and fun, instructive, and engaging ways to share books with children. The program also brings early literacy workshops to parents of children from birth to age six.
