What Makes a Story? - Burlington Writers Workshop Montpelier Vermont

June 17th - What Makes a Story?

The Burlington Writers Workshop offers free writing workshops, panel discussions, readings, and other opportunities for Vermont writers to learn, network, and publish. This is their first event at Bear Pond Books. Join BWW members Linda Quinlan, Jim Gamble, and Al Uris for a reading and discussion of the elements of a great story. All these writers have work featured in "The Best of the Burlington Writers Workshop 2014."

We're particularly pleased to offer this discussion on the heels of May's Short Story Month. For another look at some of the short story writing happening in Vermont, we recommend this series of brief articles by The Dooryard.

On the 17th, there will be plenty of time to learn more about the Writers' Workshop, including their Montpelier workshops. Find out more at their website then join us at 7pm on Tuesday, June 17th.
