Sanders: Progress but more to do on filibusters

Vermont U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders is welcoming an agreement that clears the way for long-stalled confirmation votes on several of President Barack Obama's nominees.

But Sanders warns that more must be done to end gridlock in what he called "a seriously dysfunctional Senate."

The comment followed an agreement that clears the way for Senate confirmation of several of the presidents until-now stalled nominees, including those to head the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the Department of Labor and the Environmental Protection Agency.
