Maine cyclist wins race up Mount Washington

A Maine cyclist has won a race up Mount Washington, the highest peak in the Northeast.

Dereck Treadwell of Topsham, Maine, finished the race up the 7.6-mile auto road in 58 minutes and 14 seconds.

He beat Eric Follen of Sanford, Maine, by just four seconds, after the two battled for victory through the race on Saturday.
