Motor vehicle Crash
Case 13B101853
Date 6/2/13 at approximately 1200 hours
Location: Interstate 91 north, mile marker 136/50 Lyndon VT
Vehicle 1: 2007 Subaru Impreza with Maine registration 514OTC.

Surface and contact damage to the front and right rear passenger side. Vehicle operable from scene.
Non-Vehicle property damage: Steel guard rail section, approximately 20 foot section owned by the State of Vermont Agency of Transportation
Operator: Eric Reuter age 37 of Kittery Maine, no injuries reported, seat belt worn.
Vermont State Police responded to a reported single vehicle crash in the town of Lyndon VT. Investigation found that vehicle 1 was traveling north on Interstate 91 just prior to exit 23. Vehicle 1 operator said he was traveling around 60-65 miles per hour and spun out of control on the wet road. Vehicle 1 operator reported he had hydroplaned and struck a guard rail causing the damage to his vehicle and the State owned guard rail. The cause of the crash was vehicle 1 operator driving too fast for the existing road conditions present and was issued a warning.
