Updated Thursday, February 21st at 6:59 AM

Most mornings it’s dangerously easy to hit the snooze button six times. Try as you might, you know that there’s a dull, gray, cold, February day out there waiting for you. Maybe you’ve even tried that trick of placing an alarm all the way across the room, forcing yourself to get vertical and start your day. Well let me tell you, today is NOT one of those days. Today is a leap from the bed as if you’re a champion triple jumper kind of morning. We have 8-9 inches of fresh snow on the ground, for a 36 hour total of 14-15 inches. When you wake up to this…it's a game changer.

The snow started picking up yesterday afternoon and it continued pretty steadily through the night. It’s still snowing out there now and forecasts project continued snow into the day! Even the 6 inches we picked up yesterday did quite a bit for freshening up the mountain, so you can only imagine what it will look like out there this morning. In fact, take a look at the photos we snapped yesterday. No doubt about it, we have ANOTHER beautiful powder day on our hands. Catch the Vista Quad early at 8:30am. We’ll have all 6 lifts spinning to take you to 67 open trails that will be filled with plenty of powder and packed powder. And you can enjoy all of these great conditions until 8pm this evening as we remain open for night skiing.

Protect your noggin! Helmets will be 20% off at BV Sports…and 30% off for pass holders, for the remainder of the season.

When skiing on the ungroomed natural snow trails, please be aware of many hidden and unmarked obstacles, such as waterbars, stumps, rocks and thin areas. Uphill traffic on our trails is prohibited at any time. Hiking or skiing when we are closed is also prohibited.
