WCAX - 8:58 am Thu Jan 17th, 2013

A Vermont man who has been convicted twice of murder and then had those convictions reversed has returned to court. Dennis Tribble is facing first-degree murder in the September 2000 shooting of 43-year-old Michael Borello in North Wolcott.

The 62-year-old Tribble, who said he acted in self-defense, shot Borello repeatedly, firing once with a pistol and then going to his truck to get a shotgun before shooting the unarmed Borello several times more as he tried to get away.
