The Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center in Stowe is pleased to present the "Acrobats of Cirque-Tacular" in two family-friendly performances the day after Thanksgiving -- Friday, November 23, 2012 at 3:30 and 7:00 pm.
The "Acrobats of Cirque-Tacular" bring a heart-stopping, mind-boggling display of artistry and athleticism to our stage. Featuring a breath-taking ensemble of seven artists including: aerialists, acrobats, contortionists, jugglers, illusionists and specialty acts, this awe-inspiring, gasp-inducing show spans the last century of entertainment in an enchanting journey, exploring styles of variety entertainment both familiar and exotic.
The "Acrobats of Cirque-Tacular" is a touring company of the New York based Cirque-Tacular Entertainment, the East Coast's premier supplier of elite specialty and acrobatic talent. Over the last four years, the group has given over one thousand aerial and ground acrobatic performances throughout the world. Repeatedly praised by critics, for their their "great feats of daring at the extreme edges of human capability", their acts have reached millions live and millions more through appearances on most major television networks. Critics hail Cirque-Tacular's performers as "mesmerizing", "incredible", and "truly impressive"; as the cutting edge leaders of the new American vaudeville movement.
Tickets for the "Acrobats of Cirque-Tacular" at the Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center on Friday, November 23 at 3:30 or 7:00 pm are $45 adults, $40.50 children 18 and under. New this season is the Family 4-Pack, offering deep discounts to family programs. The Family 4-Pack tickets are $136 for a family of four.
