Bullying, girls' hockey on school board's mind

The Stowe School District is set to adopt an anti-bullying policy, designed to ensure a safe, positive learning environment for every student.

A law passed earlier this year requires all Vermont school boards to adopt anti-bullying policies that are at least as stringent as a sample policy written by the State Board of Education.

The goal is "to make sure reported incidents get funneled down the right way," said school Superintendent Tracy Wrend.
