Rutland County Sheriff Press Release - Update 3: Search Continues for Jessica Flanders, Another Possible Registration

Investigators have identified Missouri UH9P0J as another possible registration for the 1990 Toyota Celica, described as a 2-door hatchback, being operated by Benjamin Davis.

Update No. 2
The investigation and search for Jessica Flanders, age 31 of Fair Haven, continues. The Rutland County Sheriff's Department, in conjunction with the Vermont State Police and Federal Bureau of Investigation, have determined that Jessica is most likely in the company of Benjamin Davis, age 35 of Dixon, Missouri.

Through the course of the investigation, it was learned that two are in a relationship and phone records indicate they are traveling together.

Davis owns a black Toyota Celica, unknown year. The vehicle does not appear to be registered, however, Davis' previous registration was Missouri PJ1D1G and it is believed he may be displaying these plates on the black Toyota Celica.

Detectives have received mixed information regarding the couples intentions and destination. Information was received that Jessica intended to go to Missouri with Davis. However, other information suggests Davis wanted to remain in Vermont until December.

Davis is also the custodial father of a 13-year-old and 9-year-old and investigators have information they are currently with Davis.

Due to Jessica's limited mobility, medical needs, and mental status, there is concern for her welfare.
