Electricity trust names three directors

Stowe Reporter - 1:02 pm Fri Nov 2nd, 2012

The Vermont Low Income Trust for Electricity has designated three independent directors to serve on the board of Vermont Electric Power Co., known as VELCO. The electricity trust is chaired by Dick Marron of Stowe, a former state legislator.

It's a nonprofit, public benefit corporation, formed as a part of the merger between Green Mountain Power and Central Vermont Public Service, the state's two biggest electric utilities.

The trust nominated Theresa Alberghini DiPalma of Burlington, Michael Dworkin of Montpelier and Cort Richardson of East Montpelier for the VELCO board.
