VTrans to Extend Rt. 107 Lane Closure in Stockbridge

posted at 3:48 pm Thu Nov 1st, 2012 by (WherezIt_Staff)

The Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans) has extended the closure of the east bound lane of VT Route 107, between mile markers 1.86 and 2.20 in the town of Stockbridge. The continued lane closure will allow work crews to complete the necessary ledge scaling and tree clearing on the side of the road.

Due to the scope of the ledge scaling, the project is expected to continue until November 20, 2012. The work zone has a restricted (paved) width of 14'. There is a speed restriction of 40 mph in both directions throughout the work zone. Traffic control is present during the day and traffic signals are in place at both ends of the project.
