John Kerrigan's Army goes to war

Waterbury Record - 11:32 am Fri Oct 19th, 2012

A large sheet of plywood rises up along the woods trails behind Harwood Union High School, the likes of which you won't see anywhere else in Vermont.

Whitewashed, the sign reads in tall, spray-painted lettering, "Every time I run, I go to war."

Students on the high school cross-country team run right past it several times when they race on their grueling home course, as they did very successfully last Saturday in the annual Harwood Coed Invitational.
