Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders to hold town meeting on women's issues

U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) will hold a town meeting Thursday in Montpelier to discuss women's issues ranging from health care and reproductive rights to economic fairness and gender discrimination.

Sanders will be joined by a panel, which includes: Jill Krowinski, director of public affairs for Vermont at Planned Parenthood of Northern New England; a patient who receives services at Planned Parenthood; Cary Brown, executive director of the Vermont Commission on Women; Sarah Kenney, associate director of Public Policy at the Vermont Network Against Domestic and Sexual Violence; Dolly Fleming, executive director of Mercy Connections; Donna Rae Heath, president of Vermont Business and Professional Women; Rickey Gard Diamond, editor of Vermont Woman newspaper; and Tiffany Bluemle, executive director of Vermont Works for Women.
