When: Wednesdays July 13, 20, 27 and August 3rd, 6-8pm

Drawing from Observation: In this short series of hands-on classes you will draw from the observed world before us. We will examine how we put what we see ‘out there’ on to a piece of paper. Perspective, foreshortening and shading will be covered. We will draw from architecture, the still life and people (clothed).

About Sam:

Sam Thurston has taught drawing, watercolor, painting, sculpture and art history for the Vermont Community College Newport, Morrisville and St. Johnsbury sites for over ten years. He has had numerous one person shows in Vermont and NYC. For more see

We want you to join us for the fourth of July parade!
We need folks to be giant puppets for the epic River Arts Morrisville Parade float.
It's so fun... don't watch the parade this year, BE the parade.
Look for the River Arts crew on Munson Avenue, off Harrell Street at 10AM...
