Thunder Road International Speedbowl in Barre, VT will kick off its Thursday night schedule a week early with the rescheduled Ferguston Waterworks event.

The event, which was originally scheduled for Sunday, June 12, was postponed due to rain and will be run on Thursday, June 16.

The event will go as previously scheduled with free admission to Barre flood victim residents, who will also receive a complimentary hot dog and soda from Al's French Fries. Kids 12 and under are also free. Adults are just $10. Donations of food, non-perishable food items or small financial donations will again be collected at the front gate in an effort to support the Barre flood victims.

All four divisions will be back in action. Graniteville's John Donahue sits atop the Late Model point standings after his win in the Mekkelsen RV Memorial Day Classic. He will look to continue his outstanding 2011 season. Including the ACT Tour and Thunder Road, Donahue has finished in the top three in four of five events so far this season.

The Bond Auto Tiger Sportsmen driver Derrick O'Donnell from Bradford is holding onto the point lead after earning wins in the opening day Merchants Bank event and the Memorial Day Bond/WIX Tiger Tour 100. He will attempt to make it three in a row this Thursday.

Former White Mountain Motorsports Park Champion Nick Pilotte of Jefferson, NH has claimed the Allen Lumber Street Stocks point lead after his first career Thunder Road win on Memorial Day. The Junkyard Warriors point standings are lead by Brock Parrott of Williamstown, who also picked up a win in the Memorial Day program.

The Ferguson Waterworks event will have a post time of 6:00pm this Thursday, June 16. The pit gate will open at 4:00pm and the main grandstands will open at 5:00pm. General admission is just $10 for adults with kids 12 and under free. Fans with a Barre address on their drivers license will be admitted free of charge.
