Stowe flood damage could total $900,000

It could cost nearly $900,000 to repair roads and bridges damaged by a powerful storm in Stowe last week.

Town Manager Charles Safford has asked the Federal Emergency Management Agency for help. FEMA officials will tour Lamoille County later this week to view the damage and decide if the area should be declared a federal disaster area.
