Jeffrey T. Benoit - Driving Under the Influence; Driving License Suspended



Vt. State Police - 1:40 am Sat Apr 30th, 2011

On April 29, 2011 at approximately 2237 hours the Vermont State Police affected a motor vehicle stop on Bushey Road in Swanton after an observation of a motor vehicle violation.
The subsequent investigation revealed that 47 year old Jeffrey T.

Benoit of Sheldon was driving vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and criminally suspended.
Benoit was placed under arrest for DUI and criminal DLS and was transported to the St. Albans Barracks for processing. During the processing, Benoit provided a breath sample showing his BAC to be .122%.
At the conclusion of the processing, Benoit was lodged and order to appear in Franklin County District Court on May 2, 2011 at 1300 hours to answer the charges of DUI and DLS.
