Reading and Discussion of The Day of the Pelican with scholar Francette Cerulli Montpelier Vermont


The Day of the Pelican is the 2010 Vermont Reads book by Katherine Paterson, Library of Congress's 2010 National Ambassador for Young People's Literature. Francette Cerulli is a Vermont Humanities Council scholar and published poet living in Worcester. She has led book discussions since 1991, preferring to interweave her research with lively group discussion rather than lecture. The library has several copies of this book and the discussion is free and open to the public, and the library is handicapped accessible.
