Lamoille County Sheriff's Department - House of Troy Press Release

Lamoille County Sheriff Roger Marcoux announced on April 16, 2010 that four arrests have been made in the House of Troy burglary case.

The House of Troy, a Hyde Park manufacturing business, was broken into on March 18th. Approximately $850.00 in cash was taken, along with candy and snacks valued at $300.00. Several windows were broken out, vending machines smashed, and doors damaged, estimated at over $1500.00 to repair or replace. Adding in the labor for the repair work, the total damages and theft totaled over $4000.00.

Through investigation the Sheriff's Department learned that the parties involved actually entered the business on two occasions that evening, most of the damage being done on the second visit.

Those cited into Lamoille District Court with June court dates are:

Lauren Wallace (20) of Hyde Park
Kane Plante (20) of Johnson
Sonya Wood (19) of Johnson
Ryan Laflin (23) of Johnson

The Sheriff's Department is investigating other thefts from this business, and requests anyone with information to call 888-3502.
