Freestyle Ice is back! Due to popular demand by the figure skating community, we are now offering more Freestyle Ice throughout the week. For the time being, Freestyle Ice will be held Tuesdays April 6th & 13th from 4:30 - 6:00 pm and Thursdays April 8th & 15th from 4:30 - 5:45 pm. Cost is $15 / hour. No new Freestyle punch cards will be offered at this time, current ones are still in effect.
The Adult Instructional Hockey Clinics are in full swing but there are still spots in each group. Intermediate level groups run Thursday evenings from 6:00 - 7:15 pm and 7:30 - 8:45 pm. Cost is $20 for subs. Please email Kelly for more details.
Let us make your next Birthday Party so much easier! We will organize, set up and clean up for you and your group! Pizza, ballons, cake and of course skating could make your next birthday a huge success. Check out our birthday party packages for more details.
Skating Lessons are in session! The current Snowplow Sam and Basic Skills youth classes start Friday April 2nd. Join in the fun and learn a life long skill. Whether you want to be a figure skater, hockey player or recreational skater the basic skills are all the same! 6 week sessions are $80 and that includes USFSA membership!
Rink Rules are in place for your safety and for the sake of the community! Please take a minute to get familiar with these rules so we can keep The Ice Center a place where you want to come back to!
* No street hockey allowed inside the rink
* Please do not get on the ice until the Zamboni gates are closed
* Parents / coaches / players: please check the locker rooms and pick up after the team prior to leaving the rink
* No spitting on the benches or in the locker rooms; it is REALLY GROSS!
* Please check in at the office prior to Public Skating, Stick & Puck Time and Freestyle Ice. You have to pay to play!
* Please use assigned locker rooms; there is a method to our madness
* Please get off the ice on time, chances are there is a group on after you
* Skate hard & have fun! That's what its all about, right?
Things To Note:
Due to much demand we are offering a Novice Adult Introduction to Hockey Clinic starting in May. This 6 week clinic will focus on basic skating skills, stick handling techniques and introduction to game play. The cost is $75 and runs on thursday evenings from 7:45 - 8:45 pm May 13th through June 17th. Coach Ian Smith is a former Middlebury DIII player of the year and has been playing and coaching adults in this area for over 10 years.
We have added new inventory to the online Gear Swap. Check it out as your next pair of skates may be on there now!
