It's Roll Back the Clock Day and everyone skis today for a mere $3.50 - yup that's right the original ticket price in 1949 is what what you pay to celebrate MRG's 62nd anniversary.
The weather forecasts are looking spectacular today with temps in the 60's along with brilliant sunshine. What's really amazing is that we'll have more of the same for the final 4 days. It is remarkable how little snow was lost over the last few days of rain, frankly it is not too different than it was when we suspended operations on Sunday afternoon. We expect to start out with the vast majority of the mai n mountain terrain open, but that is likely to change over the coming days. Obviously we are expecting soft, spring surface conditions. The snow report for today is a projection - an exact trail count and updated surface conditions report will be made a bit later in the morning once patrol has a had a chance to assess the situation. The upper reaches of the mountain still have a decent snow pack and the run-outs at the bottom are thin but still skiable top to bottom. Our plan is to remain open through Easter Sunday which will be the last day of the 2010 ski season here at MRG! Don't miss out on what promises to be an awesome crescendo to the season!. All MRG season passes will be valid on Easter weekend! Stay tuned to this report for updates. Be sure to check out video from yesterday's Paraski event - very cool!!!
We will make a final call on the Unconventional Terrain Competition later today
