Rutland Downhill Skiers Take Home State Title

On a day of big bumps, a bobbled bib and supposed bad words, Rutland High School emerged as champion.

However, Burr and Burton's Brandon Ogilvie was king of the hill in the Vermont Boys Alpine State Championship at Sugarbush Monday. The Rutland boys handed Tyler Weideman a state championship in his first year as head coach, while Ogilvie won both the giant slalom and slalom events for the second consecutive year.
