February has been opening up nicely. Upper elevations officially received 2-3 inches of fresh powder Sunday evening into Monday.
Unofficially, it felt more like 3-4 on protected runs off the Single and Double. We've had a couple windy evenings which makes exact counts in the morning a touch tricky. The take home message - there's new snow! The sun is working her way up, revealing the potential of another inch for the books. Never-mind it should be a gorgeous day with temps in the low 20s. There'll be an updated report soon after 9am if there's any changes. Both The Single and Sunnyside Double will operate from 9am to 4pm. Current conditions are variable. You will not get bored at M ad River right now! Yesterday's skiers and staff experience fresh tracks on nearly all opened trails. Less than favorable patches are easily skied around. Thin cover is well marked. Mind the signs and you'll have a beautiful day for sure! Our crews have put every effort into making sure your experience results in ear-to-ear grins. We hope if you have the means, you'll come join us this week. Mid-week rates are only 39$! Important Note: Lift tickets will be on sale at the Ski School desk on the bottom floor of the Basebox Lodge. The cafeteria will be open in the morning for breakfast and then the food service will shift over to Gen. Stark's Pub for lunch, including the regular bar menu, deli sandwiches, pizza and of course that famous MRG conviviality.
