Which Came First? The Addictions / Crime Relationship Montpelier Vermont

The Montpelier Community Justice Center presents "Which Came First? The Addictions/Crime Relationship" at the Kellogg-Hubbard Library on Thursday, January 14th from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., as part of the free series The Things We Don't Like to Talk About- Films, Facts, and Discussion about Difficult Realties. This event examines the multi-faceted correlation between crime and addiction, the challenges of prevention and treatment, and what people need to know to stay safe and features true-life stories and films.

This series is presented by The Montpelier Community Justice Center, in partnership with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library, the Montpelier Police Department, the Washington County Domestic Violence Coordinated Community Response Team, and other community organizations. This informative series features films, lectures, and compelling stories on topics we all need to understand, such as domestic and sexual violence, underage drinking, driving under the influence and other crimes happen in our community every day. This series will help you learn more about the reality, the risks, and the possibilities for healing and change after an offense has occurred. For more information, or 223-3338.
