Last weekend would have been our 20th anniversary bash - Two different blockbuster concerts over two days -magnificent programs that would have included several of the greatest pieces in the chamber music repertoire performed by an impressive line-up: pianists Jeffrey Chappell, Paul Orgel, and Jeewon Park, violinists Theodore Arm and Robyn Bollinger, violist Toby Appel, cellists Edward Arron and Emily Taubl, soprano Mary Bonhag, and me on flute.

This week we bring you musical offerings from Washington DC pianist Jeffrey Chappell. who is one of the longstanding and most beloved musicians on Capital City Concerts.


Capital City Concerts presents chamber music performed by some of the world's finest musicians, in collaboration with outstanding Vermont artists. Founded in 2000 by flutist Karen Kevra, ( the concert series is based in Montpelier, the capital of Vermont.

We bring the passion and beauty of classical music combined with the warmth of our audience to Montpelier, the heart of Vermont.

The venue for the concerts is the intimate and acoustically wonderful sanctuary of the Unitarian Church of Montpelier located at 130 Main Street.
