Police have suspect in counterfeit cash

Authorities have a suspect in a local counterfeit currency case in which fake $100 bills have been passed on to businesses and banks.

Investigators plan to forward their case to the Washington County State's Attorney, who will decide whether there is enough evidence to prosecute.

It appears the fake bills - approximately 20 are known to exist - were manufactured in west Africa and then sent to the U.
