On Thursday, September 13 at 5pm in conjunction with the Waterbury Farmers Market at the Rusty Parker Park judging will be held for the Twenty Fifth Annual Waterbury Rotary Sunflower Growing Contest known as The Hunt for Sunzilla, The Monster Sunflower!
Train art takes to the trestle next week

By the afternoon of Aug. 26, the train bridge overlooking Waterbury's Main Street will have a new look. Late last year, more than 800 Waterbury residents voted on the artwork they'd like to see on that bridge, and chose the work of Phillip Godenschwager, an artist from Randolph, who designed a series of 10 sculptures to place along the bridge.

G. Wendell Parker, 86, passed away in the comfort of his home and family on Sunday afternoon, May 27, 2018. Born in Randolph on May 21, 1932, he was the son of the late Arthur J. and Bessie L. (Blakely) Parker. On October 30, 1952, he married the former Evelyn Hayes in Waterbury Center.

With the changing of the season, club members headed to Rusty Parker Memorial Park for clean up, taking the canopy down, putting planters away and some gardening. Thank you to Celia Clark and her crew from the town for their help doing a wonderful job cleaning out the weed infested area around the gazebo.


The Waterbury branch of the Rotary organization comprizes a mix of local business men and women who use their combines skills to promote the founding objectives of Rotary.

Visiting Rotarians and local residents are invited to join us at our breakfast meetings and experience local Rotary at work.
