Motor Vehicle Accident

Vermont State Police responded to Emery Road in Orange for a report of a single vehicle accident.

Upon arrival the operator was found to have left the scene. Investigation discovered that Patrick Bedard jumped from his motor vehicle after the brakes reportedly failed. Bedard injured his elbow upon jumping from the vehicle. The vehicle rolled several times and came to rest on the lawn of a near by residence.
Bedard was found to have walked to his residence and then responded to CVH for his injuries.
Bedard was cited into Orange Court to face the charge of Leaving the Scene of an Accident. Bedard was also issued 4 Traffic Complaints in relation to the accident.
