Community Calendar -> Literary
On Thursdays starting at the beginning of each month join Paige and me as I read a few stories, sing songs and rhymes. Each week Paige and I may use a mix of shakers (boxes filled with pasta), rhythm sticks (wooden spoons) and scarves (pieces of cloth). If you have any of these items around the house you could use them to follow along. Then on the last Thursday of the monthjoin Judi Byron with harp, guitar and maybe ukulele for an interactive session. We'll sing happy, joyous songs to uplift our spirits. Bring your rhythm instruments to bang or shake (rice in a container, pots & pans, etc.) From action songs with movement to harp pieces, there is something for everyone.
