Vt. State Police - 12:55 pm Sun Aug 16th, 2020
On 08/16/20 at approximately 1000 hours, A concerned citizen called the State Police to report a male sleeping in a car, parked on the side of Snake Mountain Rd. in the Town of Weybridge.
Troopers responded to the vehicle and observed a male asleep in the driver seat, parked at an entrance to a corn field. The operator woke up upon the arrival of the Troopers and was identified as Michael LaFountain (42) of Weybridge, VT. LaFountain advised he drove there early in the morning to sleep. Investigation revealed LaFountain was under criminal suspension in the State of Vermont and not allowed to operate a motor vehicle.
LaFountain was issued a citation to appear at Addison County Superior Court, Criminal Division on 10/12/20 at 1230 hours to answer to the charge of operating after suspension or revocation of license.
