Since 1921, Cantilever Shoe Store has served the footwear needs of the Greater New Orleans Area. Since 1978, we have served the community from our Metairie location. Throughout our years in business, we've gained the knowledge and experience to provide customers with insightful advice and helpful suggestions, assisting them in finding the perfect pair of shoes. One quarter of the bones in the entire human body are found in the feet. There are 33 joints between all these bones that allow your foot to be both a hard, rigid lever as well as a cushioned shock absorber for your body. You can rely on our foot expertise as our owner, Jean Sears, is a past president of the national Pedorthic Footcare Association. Our other Certified Pedorthists have been highly trained to help you with your foot and shoe needs.
