The Vermont State Police is asking for the public's help in identifying this suspect in an armed robbery Sunday at the Billings Mobil in Waterbury.
The perpetrator is described as being in his late 20s to early 30s, medium build and approximately 6 feet tall. he appears to be wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt or jacket, possibly a winter hat, a red paisley-patterned bandana, dark pants, black gloves and black and white Adidas sneakers. His weapon was a large kitchen knife. Anyone with information is asked to call the state police barracks in Middlesex at 802-229-9191. ***Update, 4:15 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, 2019*** The Vermont State Police is continuing to investigate Sunday's armed robbery at the Billings Mobil station, including releasing the attached photographs of the suspect. Continued investigation indicates the suspect made off with more than $900 in cash along with a carton of Marlboro cigarettes. In addition to the previous description of the suspect, he appears to be wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt or jacket, possibly a winter hat, a red paisley-patterned bandana, dark pants, black gloves and black and white Adidas sneakers. His weapon was a large kitchen knife.
