New CFO For Rent program

Most small businesses, which are too small to have a Chief Financial Officer on staff, could benefit tremendously from the expertise a CFO provides. Medium sized businesses, which have accounting or financial staff, may also find a great advantage in seeking an outside CFO's perspective.

The Lamoille Economic Development Corp. is beginning a new, free of charge, program called, "CFO for Rent". This grant program is open to all businesses in Lamoille County. We have contracted with a highly trained CFO, Steve Dobrin, who can review your financial and accounting systems and assess your sales and cash flow projections.

Steve Dobrin, CPA has over 25 years of experience helping businesses, from start-up, to established companies, in finance and accounting, as well as in business operations and marketing. He has worked extensively as both a corporate financial executive, and as an entrepreneur. His business, Three Mountain Consultants in Jeffersonville, offers part-time, CFO services to their clients.

LEDC created this grant program because we want to help our local businesses attain profitable and sustainable growth. A financial review by a highly qualified professional can help businesses reduce expenses, increase profit margins or even turn a business around with a credit problem.

How CFO For Rent Works:

LEDC covers the cost of an initial financial review of your business. Our consultant will then prepare a report and present your business with a proposal for further assistance if needed in a follow up meeting. Your business may continue with more consulting services, beyond the initial report, at your own expense, if desired.
