An investigation into a trespass violation led to the arrest of a fugitive wanted in the State of New Hampshire.
State Troopers from the Westminster Barracks were investigating a trespass complaint that occurred during the early morning hours of August 29th on Hall Bridge Road in Rockingham.
The subject involved in the trespass, Garrett Aither, age 19, was spotted shortly after 8 AM in Bellows Falls by the Bellows Falls Police Department. A check on Aither revealed an extraditable warrant for him out of Laconia, New Hampshire and he was taken into custody.
Investigation into the trespass determined that Aither had violated several conditions of release stemming from recent Vermont criminal charges. Aither was arrested on the New Hampshire warrant and cited for 3 counts of Violating Conditions of Release in Vermont. He was held for lack of $5,000 bail and lodged at the Southern State Correctional facility in Springfield, VT.
