The Champlain Valley is one of New England's premier inland destinations for March birdwatching. We'll scout the shores of Lake Champlain for eagles and winter waterfowl, and scan the fields for raptors, owls, snow buntings, and winter finches. We'll also pursue recent rare species sightings. A full-day exploration of avian winter ecology. Shared spotting scopes and hot chocolate provided.|
Departs from NBNC at 7:30 AM and Burlington at 8:15. Carpooling arrangements will be coordinated by NBNC.
