State Police Conduct Motor Vehicle Enforcement on Route 22A

On August 13, 2017, during the daytime hours Troopers from the New Haven Barracks conducted saturation patrols in the Towns of Salisbury and Leicester on US Route 7 and in the Towns of Addison, Bridport and Shoreham on VT Route 22A.

The purpose of these patrols was to focus on aggressive driving, speed enforcement, unsafe driving and to ensure seatbelt use.

A total of 13 vehicles were stopped for violations, which resulted in 3 written warnings and 10 Vermont Civil Violation Complaints.

These high visibility patrols will continue in the Addison County area in an effort to improve safety on public highways.
