Improve your digital photography skills during this 6-week "level 101" class. Students will learn the basics of digital photography including camera operation, proper image exposure, file types, basic file editing with Adobe Lightroom software, and preparation of photo files for Web or print. Weather permitting, the class will walk around Stowe village for hands-on learning. Bring a digital camera (any level), a notebook, and your creativity. A laptop computer is helpful but not mandatory.

Instructor: Paul Rogers is a native of Stowe, and BFA graduate of the School of Photographic Arts and Sciences at Rochester Institute of Technology. He works as a freelance photographer, specializing in commercial, documentary, travel, and fine art photography. Rusty DeWees (a.k.a. The Logger) is one of his best-known clients. He has taught photography privately, at Sterling College, Mount Mansfield Winter Academy, Helen Day Art Center, and has been published nationally.
