On September 21st 2015 at approximately 5:45 am The Vermont State Police from the Williston Barracks received a call that several windows on a school bus were broken while it was parked at the Smilie Elementary School in Bolton over the weekend.

It was learned that as the bus driver arrived early this morning he noticed three windows were broken. There were tire marks left in the dirt parking lot that showed at some point over the weekend someone had entered the lot and spun the tires of their vehicle which threw rocks towards the bus breaking the windows. The State Police spoke with maintenance workers at Mount Mansfield Highs School who estimated the damage to be approximately $600.00. Anyone who may have information related to this incident is requested to call the Williston Barracks at 802-878-7111 or Crime Stoppers at 802-864-6666.
