The 4th Annual Bake Off is only one week away! We have 18 cast members this year, which is the most we've ever had (last year was 15). Please be sure to check out all their bios to get a full list of the wonderful artists that have decided to participate in the crazy.

Here's a bit more about three of the nine ladies appearing in the show.

You may remember Francesca Blanchard some ten years or so ago, having starred as young Helen Keller in our production of The Miracle Worker. She's all grown up now and just moved back to Vermont after finishing her BFA in Theatre at Boston University.

Lili Gamache was bitten by the acting bug at the age of 4 when she was cast as the Baby Jesus in her preschool Nativity play, but you probably know her best from her recent performance as the lovable "Sonia" in our fall production of Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike.

Ruth Wallman

You may have seen Ruth Wallman in our production of The Quarry last season as "Jean McLean". Now she's back to play a few characters in section 3 of The Dining Room. Another memorable Vermont Stage role was "Virginia" in The Clean House back in 2012.

See you at the theatre... in 1 week!

PS. Thanks for all that you have given! We now have $21,000 left to raise before the end of our fiscal year on June 30th. If you haven't donated yet this season, please help us close the gap by donating.

Andrew Butterfield on directing the 2nd section of The Bake Off

"Tell us a story from your life that happened at a dining room table.   'As a child, I spent more time under the dining room table than I did sitting at it. The table legs, hardware, supports, leaf latches and slides, tucked-in chairs, and draping tablecloth provided the ultimate atmosphere for GI-Joe military and ninja missions. With a bit of yarn from my mother's knitting basket, I could create elaborate systems of ropes, zip lines, and webbing for my Joe warriors to climb, swing, rappel, and get tangled in. To be a child again..." read more
