Granite trains running again - Times Argus

A train that carries granite through central Vermont began running earlier this week, the first in several years.

The train picks up the granite in Websterville and hauls it through Montpelier. The payload, according to NorthEast Materials Group General Manager Eric Morton, is destined for a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers project in Oswego, New York, where it will be used to repair a breakwater.
