Burton founders support autism benefit

Jake and Donna Carpenter of Stowe, founders of Burton Snowboards, supported a benefit last week that raised nearly $1.3 million for the Lurie Center for Autism at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.

Each dollar contributed at "A Seat at the Table," held at the Mandarin Oriental in Boston, leveraged an additional $2 from the Nancy Lurie Marks Family Foundation. The Lurie Center has introduced groundbreaking efforts to improve services for adults with autism.
