11/7/14 - The Vermont State Police announce the departure of public information officer Stephanie Brackin, formerly Stephanie Dasaro, effective November 14, 2014.
Ms. Brackin is taking a position with another state agency as an Internet Website Specialist; and will continue to be an asset to the state of Vermont.
State police command staff are beginning the process of finding a replacement.
The Vermont State Police remain dedicated to responding to press inquiries in a prompt manner, issuing timely press releases for significant incidents, maintaining our social media presence, and processing public record requests in accordance with state law.
In the interim, for media questions about specific cases, please contact the investigating trooper directly or the local station commander. For questions after hours and on weekends, contact the Watch Commander through your local dispatch center.
Mug shot requests may be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org<mailto:email@example.com>. When making a mug shot request, it is imperative to include the name, age, date of arrest, and the barracks from which the suspect was arrested. Please keep in mind that an arrest processing photo may not exist if the suspect was cited and released or if extenuating circumstances prevented a photo from being taken. The Vermont State Police cannot release arrest processing photos taken by another agency.
