Vt Digger - - 9:46 am Thu Nov 6th, 2014

The Vermont Planners Association (VPA), a state-wide, non-profit organization of both professional and citizen planners, will meet at the Pizzagalli Center for the Arts and Education at the Shelburne Museum on Friday, November 7th, to commemorate their 25th anniversary and look ahead to the next 25.

VPA was founded in November 1988 (about the time that Act 200 was enacted) by a handful of community land-use planners. Today the organization boasts around 200 members, and includes not only community planners, but also regional and state agency planners, citizen planners, planning consultants, and some from related professions, such as landscape architecture.
