The Stowe Police Department has charged three individuals in connection with the bank robbery that took place on Tuesday, October 28, 2014.
At approximately 3:25pm on October 28, 2014 an individual entered the Union Bank in Stowe and handed a teller a note. The individual then fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash. The individual then ran to a waiting vehicle that was parked on Depot Street and then fled the area. No weapon was shown at the time of the robbery, but it was later discovered that the robber was armed with a knife and a hypodermic needle.
The individual who went into and robbed the bank has been identified as Koren Brand,
D.O.B. 07/06/1988, from Barre City, Vermont. Koren Brand has been charged with 13 VSA 608b Assault and Robbery.
The accomplice and driver of the vehicle was identified as Stanley Nadjuch, D.O.B. 12/28/1978, from Stowe, Vermont. Stanley Nadjuch has been charged with 13 VSA 3 Aiding in the Commission of a Felony.
The third individual who has been identified as another accomplice is Paul Acosta,
D.O.B. 07/21/1987, from Barre City, Vermont and he has been charged with 13 VSA 3 Aiding in the Commission of a Felony.
The Stowe Police Department was assisted by several law enforcement agencies during this investigation, including Morristown Police, State Police, Lamoille County Sheriffs, Montpelier Police and Barre City Police.
