Capital City Concerts presents THE MUSIC OF J.S. BACH on November 22 at 7:30PM in Montpelier at the ST. AUGUSTINE CHURCH and on November 23 at 3:00PM in Burlington at ST. PAUL'S CATHEDRAL (part of the Cathedral Arts series).

There will be an all-star line-up of soloists and a chamber orchestra whose members have performed with the New York Philharmonic, Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, Orchestra of Saint Luke's, and the American, New Jersey, and Vermont Symphonies. The concert features a performance of J.S. Bach's Brandenburg Concerto by Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra guest principal trumpeter Sycil Mathai, along with violinist Theodore Arm, New York City Ballet principal oboist Randall Wolfgang, and Montpelier flutist Karen Kevra. Also, the program includes Concerto for Violin and Oboe in C minor. The Cantata "Ich habe genug," BWV 82a; Aria: "Liebster Jesu, mein Verlangen" ( Beloved Jesus, my Desire); and the crowd-favorite aria "Schafe konnen sicher weiden" (Sheep May Safely Graze) feature soprano Hyunah Yu.
