N/A - Fire



Vt. State Police - 1:10 pm Thu Oct 16th, 2014

On 10-16-14 at approximately 2:00 AM the Barre City Fire Department responded to a fire at 34 Highland Avenue in Barre City. Upon arrival the fire department located a room on the second floor to be fully involved with fire.

The Barre City Fire Department requested aid from Barre Town and Montpelier Fire Departments. The fire departments were able to limit the majority of damage to one room with damages estimated at approximately $10000.00. There were no injuries.
A Detective from the State Police Fire Investigation Unit and a Fire Investigators from the Division of Fire Safety responded to the scene on 10-16-14.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. The fire is not considered suspicious.
